Teaching, learning and healing

Jennifer earned a second bachelor’s degree to become a registered nurse, and she now works as a Nurse Educator on the cardiac care floor of an excellent hospital a few minutes from our home. She was recently honored by her peers for a hospital-wide clinical nurse practice award. Jennifer’s work schedule is very flexible and will easily accommodate our baby’s needs.

Soon to earn a Ph. D. in education, Natalie is a journalism and English teacher who works for one of the most respected and diverse school systems in the country; our child will attend school in Natalie’s district when the time comes. With maternity leave, holiday and summer vacations and consistent school-day hours, Natalie will spend lots of extended time caring for, playing with and teaching our child.

Our schedules will enable our family to enjoy our city’s libraries and wonderful park system, including a park up the street that features a pool and waterslides and a recreation center with figure skating and hockey rinks and basketball courts.
